MIRON Violetglass developed the cosmetic bottle series to offer a design that makes your cosmetic or skincare brand stand out. With its unique, elegant and luxurious rectangular shape characterized by its squared’ shoulders it matches perfectly with the cosmetic jars series and its modern lid. The shape offers a large label area for your branding, and it is available in a 15 ml (1/2-oz) to a 200 ml (6 ¾-oz). The series matches a selection of pump caps, spray caps and pipette droppers with a neck finish for a 18/400, 18/415 or a 24/410 thread.
Let’s talk about threads
...But what exactly are threads?
GPI and GCMI
GPI and GCMI are the US norm of neck finishes and are followed by two numbers written like this: 22/400*. The first number indicates the neck finish diameter and is measured across the outside of the bottle’s threads. The second number refers to the height and thread style. Meaning the number of threads turns around the neck. Our cosmetic bottles features either a 18/400 (1 thread turn), 18/415 (2 thread turns) or a 24/410 (1,5 thread turns) neck finish. They are often used for cosmetic or para pharma with pumps, sprays, or pipette closures.
* Please note that if a bottle has an additional ring in the neck, this may affect the choice of matching closure. For more details, please get in touch with your representative.
At MIRON Violetglass we ensure that our closures always fit the corresponding bottles and jars. However, it can sometimes be a bit of a challenge to find the right glass packaging which complements the needs of your natural ingredients. We are always happy to answer any questions you may have and to become a part of your products journey.
