Miron internal tests have proven what we already knew to be true. Natural products stored in violet glass last longer without losing their distinctive qualities like potency, smell, color, and texture. We kept chives for three months in three different glass types: violet, brown, and clear glass. The results are stunning. The chives stored in clear and brown glass were grey and dry. Biophotonic glass: What are biophotons?

Biophoton is Greek and stands for (bio) and light (photon).

Biophotons are the light particles in natural products. They indicate the amount of exposure to sunlight of the natural ingredients. When plants mature, they absorb sunlight and turn it into energy to grow. The plant stores this energetic power, which we call biophotons. The design of Miron glass is often described as clean, functional, modern, thought-provoking, and minimalistic. The glass looks black from the outside, but you can see its purple color if you hold the glass against the light. The term violet glass refers to its ability to let violet and ultraviolet light rays pass through and its purple look. It is about 10 to 20 percent thicker than other glass, guaranteeing the material's best efficacy.

Miron glass gets its distinctive color from a patented mix of mineral oxides and silica. In Eastern traditions, the color purple represents the harmony of the universe. It is a combination of red and blue - Yin and Yang. Yang is solar energy. It is outgoing and free. Yin stands for stored energy and preserved matter.
