Pressure sensitive seal

A pressure sensitive seal is designed to stick to the rim of a jar and offers protection against tampering. To open the product, the consumer must break the seal. This is made possible by the adhesive nature of one side of the liner. By closing the package, the lid applies pressure on the liner. This pressure causes the adhesive to become active and results in an inner seal to protect solid products, like powders, spices and herbs.
